There has been a lot of staff pride at Young Audiences, and for good reason.
First, our Executive Director, Marsha Dobrzynski, was selected as a 2011 Cleveland Arts Prize recipient. Marsha’s work has done so much to inspire young people in Northeast Ohio through arts and education. We are excited that she is being honored!
Marsha will receive the Martha Joseph Prize for Distinguished Service to the Arts at the 51st Cleveland Arts Prize Award Event on Tuesday, June 28th, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. Please join us!

Second, the Ohio Association of Nonprofit Organizations awarded their Excellence Award to Young Audiences for ArtWorks programming on May 5th at the Ohio State House in Columbus.
ArtWorks is an arts-based job training program for high school students. For six years the program has transformed the lives of hundreds of young people in our community. Each summer we hire master teaching artists who teach a large cross-section of students how to be professional and relevant skills that could be applied to any industry or future job. We are honored to receive this recognition.
